In this piece for The Guardian, Matt Taibbi goes into the fundamental principals at the heart of Goldman Sachs business practices and the origins in the ideology made popular by the “intellectual” brains behind Glenn Beck and the Tea Party movement, Ayn Rand.
Basically, we must progress passed the point where we will not be taking advantage of anyone when giving the opportunity. This is not a debate between the “water-carriers” and “water-drinkers”, but how a modern society treats our fellow man. We are a better society than this.

    Very informative article. I was shocked to learn that Goldman Sachs is also (partially) responsible for the current economic problems in Greece. Will we next learn that they were involved in the impending failure of Spain’s economy? While the world flirts with economic disaster and possible 1930’s style depression the 33,000 Goldman employee’s average bonus was more than $300,000. Not to mention that top executives made $ 10 of millions. WE must reform Wall Street before they actually cause a depression and help triple our current unacceptable unemployment rate
