Yes We Can! Long Island 2012Enactment of health care reform will go down as one of the greatest legislative battles in Congressional history and probably the greatest progressive victory since the civil rights and voting rights acts of the 1960s. It will change the culture of health insurance in this country forever and move us closer to affordable, quality care for all Americans.
Congratulations to Nancy Pelosi and the House of Representative on passing the legislation. Onto the Senate for reconciliation to make the law even better.
