Yes We Can! Long Island 2012A new NBC News / Wall Street Journal poll finds public contempt for Congress and both major political parties. However, the anger isn’t necessarily directed at President Obama, and Democrats fare slightly better than Republicans.
“The message is a big one,” said Democratic pollster Peter D. Hart, who conducted this survey with Republican pollster Bill McInturff. “The message is, ‘We hate what’s going in Washington.’”
