Removing Any Doubt about Corporate Influence

Just in case one might not recognize how much corporate money influences legislation, just read this piece about CEOs concern about who is running the country and how drastically things will change for the worse given the Roberts ruling. (You may have noticed that I avoid using ‘Supreme Court’ when I write/speak. This goes back to the Florida recount/disgrace. Somehow we have to get the majority back or these five will ruin our country).–Marvin

Executives Urge Public Financing for Campaigns

About 40 current and former corporate executives have a message for Congress: Quit hitting us up for campaign cash. In a letter to Congressional leaders on Friday, the executives urged Congress to approve public financing for House and Senate campaigns. They sent the letter a day after the Supreme Court struck down limits on corporate spending in elections. Read more
