But what are the terms of the debate between Iran and Barack Obama who now controls the reins of US foreign policy? Everyone knows what it it is:shut down your civilian nuclear program or…..we bomb you. This is the reason why Barack Obama has never taken the nulcear option off the table vis-a-vis Iran. And he stated this in his speech to AIPAC during the primaries.
Barack Obama presnted himself as the antiwar candidate(or am I wrong about this?) He can not be taken seriously as a anti-war candidate because1)he continues with Bush W policy of maintaining two nuclear US fleets in the straight of Hormouz;2)he voted to spemnd 400 million dollars of US tax payers money to destabilize Iran while he was in the Senate and he conitunes to harass Iran over its civilian nuclear power program.
If he is the peace candidate, can you name one well known anti-war activist who supports 1-3? There are none.
I strongly disagree with your analysis of Obama’s attitude towards Iran, and I think his video addressed to the Iranian people and his outreach to the Iranian government supports my views.

Barck Obama has demonstrated enormous hostility towards Iran. While in the Senate, Barack Obama voted to allow 400 billion dollars to be used to destabilize the Iranian goverment. This is well known. Go google this. Hilarly Clinton voted for this package also. No serious antiwar activist was in favor of this.
The same exact lies-weapons of mass destruction- that instigated a war against Iraq that may have resulted in the death of between one hundred to one million civilians-aere no being used against Iraq. Barack Obama is clearly on board with the neiocon propaganda against Iran. In fact , the neocons have given their stamp of approval to Barack Obama for this reason.
Let me tell you something. The famous LA prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi recently had a book on the NYT best sellers list making the legal case dor indicting George W bush for mass murder in Iraq. He provides massive documentation for his legal case against Bush.
Barack Obama-if continues to his present course of escalating the middle east war-will have a legal case made against him for war crimes that could result in an idictment from the Hague.
Barack Obama should rule out the use of nuclear weapons. Vladimir Putin has. But depsite this,Barack Obama continues to agonize Russia but encircling Russian with hostile nation nations. Barack Obama’s decesion to continue with Bush W’s policy of putting nuclear missles in Poland-pointed at Russia-is an extreme act of war mongering. I mean, let’s be honest, putting nuclear missles in Poland pointed at Russia is a theat to the human species!!!!

Yes, some of his top advisors are from Wall Street, but who knows better how Wall Street works then people who worked on Wall Street? When it comes down to it, it is up to Barack Obama how policies are implemented. He is facing a difficult problem, and no one knows how best to address it. He is trying, and we will see how it works out.
As for Iran, Obama has not ruled out using nuclear weapons, as he has not ruled out using nuclear weapons on any nation. He has not shown any hostility towards them, and appears to truly want to work out a real plan towards peace.
Barack Obama is our president until at least 2013. The myriad of problems he has been left to address will take time, and judging him so harshly so soon into his administration doesn’t seem all that reasonable to me. Time will tell if his policies are right or wrong.

It is intertesting that you mentioned Alex Jones. I know who he is and I hardly ever visit his web site(other than to see what the conspiracy theorists are up to) I have no tolerane for his conspiracy theories. But I do visit web sties such as Counterpunch where economist Michael Hudson-worlds leading expert on the poltical economy of debt- has gone to great depths to lay bare the essence the of Barack Obama”s economic recovery program and the essence of Barack Obama’s economic recovery program is more debt for consumers…which of course is the heart of the problem in the first place along with financial deregulation. Time will only tell if the economy doesn’t go into a depression.
I want to point out that both Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton both have not ruled out the use of nuclear weapons againat Iran. I am not making this up.
We will know no soon enough if Barack Obama’s Wall Street wizards can pull the economy from the abyss. But so far his foreign policy is horrific.

Barack Obama should be judged by the same moral standards as the previous criminal Bush W adminstration. The fact that the Bush W adminstration was pathologically criminal doesn’t mean that Barack Obama gets a blank check to anything he wants to do.

What about Barack Obama’s top economic advisor Larry Summers? Several years ago he argued that it was economically rational to dump pollutants in third world counties. Isn’t having Larry Summers as your top economic advisor kind of like having the focx watching the chickens?
