CNN Covering YWC!LI’s Founding Convention

I was informed a short while ago that the CNN news team will be covering our Founding Convention.

Tomorrow’s event is being very well received by our membership, progressives, and independents who remain committed to a positive message built on a foundation of hope and change.

Our agenda will focus on the issues of healthcare, energy and the environment, service and diversity. Our presenters are uniquely qualified to engage participants in discussion of each of these topics. Future events will include issues such as the economy, education, and others as decided by our members.

At the end of the session (2:30 p.m.) we will be meeting outside The Metropolitan to join ‘Project Pledge’–Organizing for America’s program designed to gain support for President Obama’s commitment to a budget that supports healthcare, renewable energy, and education.
